How long does it take?

The Total time before your app is online and ready for download is 15-30days. That said they only take 10 days to create. After completion of the app the final version will be sent to you for approval/revisions. If you have more inputs we will go back as many times as you request to ensure the app meets your exact specifications. Once you are completely satisfied we will then submit your app to the iTunes App Store and Google play. After submission it takes Google one day and Apple anywhere from 10-15 day to approve the app and place in the app store.

Can I make revisions after the app is submitted/online? 

Yes. Because our apps our HTML5 based they can be updated in almost real time like your website. We do recommend however that if you make considerable changes to the design and layout of your app that you allow us to resubmit your app to Apple and Google. This will allow you to showcase the changes and update preview images. The fee is 50$ per submission. If an updated is required to fix a bug then we will take care of it at no additional charge. 

Why do I need to pay monthly hosting? 

There are two types of mobile apps that work on Apple and Android devices; native and web based apps. A native app does not require monthly hosting but cost considerably more as it requires us to build it for both iPhone and Android independently. Once created it cannot be updated/changed without an update which again cost considerably more. 

HTML5 based apps (what we offer here at churchapps) allow you to edit content in real time using our online admin panel in much the same way you update your church website now. This allows you to have completed flexibly of your app without expensive updates. 

In addition your monthly plan includes online tech support from our staff and access to our admin panel which allows you to edit just about everything about your app. 

When can I cancel? 

Cancel anytime, there are no contracts. If you do decide to cancel prior to the app going online we will refund your entire payment. Once your app is online you can cancel the hosting at anytime, service will continue till the end of that hosting period (30 days). 

What happens to my app once I cancel? 

Because your app is hosted with us once you cancel we will remove your app and mobile website from online at the end of your billing period. Man that sounds sad….oh I have a solution, don't cancel. Yea for happy thought!!!
